Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to support our daily purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase order processing, and delivery follow-up. Candidates with experience in the telecommunications, networking, or IT hardware industry will be preferred.

Salary Range: S$4,000–S$5,000 per month, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, compare prices, and assess supplier proposals.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring the accuracy of product specifications, pricing, and delivery terms.
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to follow up on order status, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics, to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain supplier records, procurement documents, and purchasing reports.
• Assist with supplier negotiations, cost control, and the sourcing of alternative suppliers.
• Support inventory monitoring and perform other procurement-related administrative duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Experience in the telecommunications, networking, IT hardware, electronics, or technology industry is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple orders and deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other common office applications.
• Able to communicate effectively with local and overseas suppliers. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage when liaising with Chinese-speaking suppliers.
