About the Role

We are looking for a Local Procurement Officer to support procurement activities for our solar power (PLTS) projects and Booth Projects. This role will focus on sourcing and procuring high-value engineering materials and technical equipment, ensuring the right balance of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

Working closely with vendors, Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, and Warehouse teams, you will contribute to efficient procurement processes, reliable material supply, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and manage procurement requirements for engineering materials and high-value equipment related to solar power (PLTS) and Booth Projects.
• Conduct local and international vendor sourcing and qualification to ensure product quality, delivery reliability, and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency and reliable supply.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately in accordance with project specifications and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production, shipment, and delivery progress in coordination with Logistics, Warehouse, and Project teams.
• Maintain and organize procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery records, and customs documents.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management teams to clarify technical specifications and ensure appropriate material selection.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships to support long-term reliability and supply continuity.
• Support procurement forecasting, cost estimation, and material planning for upcoming projects.
• Prepare regular procurement reports covering PO status, vendor performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering), Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Maximum of 3 years of professional experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
• Hands-on experience in procuring high-value engineering or technical materials and equipment, such as solar panels, inverters, cables, mounting systems, electrical components, or other industrial goods.
• Experience focused on office supplies, general administration (GA) items, or IT/service vendors alone will not meet the primary requirements of this role.
• Strong vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and familiarity with ERP or e-procurement systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
• Proactive, analytical, and efficiency-driven, with strong communication, collaboration, and accountability.
• Demonstrates high integrity and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
