We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring that procurement activities support the company's operational and business objectives. This role plays a critical part in securing the right quality products, at the right quantity, time, source, price, and place to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate Purchase Orders (POs) for materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and services required by the company.
• Ensure purchase orders are created and submitted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, delivery schedules, terms, and warranties.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, discounts, and delivery priority.
• Source and evaluate alternative products and suppliers to achieve cost savings and improve procurement efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness.
• Conduct supplier accreditation and identify new vendor opportunities.
• Ensure timely conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase Orders and monitor delivery commitments.
• Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related 4-year course.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of standard purchasing procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• QFSSC Awareness Training is an advantage.
• Analytical, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
