Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring that all requirements will be served based on the principles of Purchasing right quality, right quantity, right time, right source, right price and right place to maximize sales and minimize costs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue corresponding Purchase Order (PO) to order materials, supplies, tools, equipment, any other tangible items and services that the company and any of its department/section.
• Responsible for generating and submitting purchase orders in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
• Negotiate with vendors on price, product availability, delivery schedule and to solve any other issues, to ensure the company's long-term profitability.
• Study assigned item categories, becoming an expert in product knowledge. Seek out new products or alternatives that are cost competitive.
• Accredited new suppliers/vendors.
• Perform other related activities required by the management in the conduct of its business

Job Specifications

• At least any 4 year bachelor's degree, preferably business related
• High degree of negotiation skills
• Preferably with QFSSC Awareness Training

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
