Procurement Specialist (MRO, Electronics)

• Vendor Sourcing and Qualification: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors capable of providing MRO supplies, electronic components, and related services
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and qualification processes to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• RFQ and Bid Management: Manage the request for quotation (RFQ) process for MRO and electronic components
• Issue RFQs to suppliers, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to select the most suitable suppliers based on technical specifications, quality standards, and cost considerations
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and vendors
• Ensure that contracts are aligned with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Mitigate risks and address commercial terms and conditions to optimize value and minimize costs
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, OEMs, and distributors of MRO and electronic components
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to address issues, resolve disputes, and improve performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage supplier capabilities and innovations
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of MRO supplies and electronic components to support production schedules and maintenance activities
• Implement inventory control measures, including stock replenishment, cycle counting, and surplus management
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring availability and reliability
• Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze procurement costs, pricing trends, and supplier performance metrics
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering initiatives, and alternative sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction targets and improve profitability
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and documentation
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations for management review and audit purposes
