Position Overview
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for solar energy projects. This role ensures timely procurement of materials and services aligned with project requirements and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement for solar project materials and services
- Source and evaluate suppliers, contractors, and vendors
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams on specifications
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance
- Maintain procurement documentation and records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proven experience in procurement for solar or renewable energy projects
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with EPC project procurement processes
