Procurement Specialists

Position: Procurement Specialist

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Candidates must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.

OR

• Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate procurement activities in accordance with project requirements and procurement schedules.
• Identify and assess suitable suppliers, manufacturers, vendors, and service providers.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, technical offers, and commercial proposals from suppliers.
• Prepare comparative statements and support technical and commercial evaluation of bids.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure procurement is based on approved drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Assist in negotiation of prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, warranties, and other commercial conditions.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, work orders, and other procurement documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding manufacturing, inspection, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with the Quality and Stores teams for inspection, acceptance, and receipt of procured materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues and delays.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, supplier details, comparative statements, and procurement correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with approved procurement procedures, project requirements, and contractual conditions.
• Identify potential procurement risks and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic procurement status reports for project management.

Pay: ₹72,000.00 - ₹84,000.00 per month
