Procurement Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders matching per company policies.
• Request and compare supplier quotes; recommend cost-effective options.
• Track orders and incoming deliveries; log expected and actual arrival times.
• Receive and inspect goods; record discrepancies, damages, or shortages and coordinate resolutions.
• Maintain and update supplier database (contacts, lead times, pricing, bank/tax details).
• File and archive procurement documentation (quotes, POs, GRNs, invoices) for audit readiness.
• Reconcile supplier invoices with POs/GRNs and liaise with finance on approvals and payments.
• Produce regular reports on open POs, delivery status, supplier performance, and pending invoices.
• Assist with the daily activities of the procurement department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5 years professional experience in procurement or a similar role
• Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems
  Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and maintain strict deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
