Procurement Staff

• Coordinate the purchasing and sourcing of fresh and frozen seafood from accredited suppliers.
• Monitor supplier availability, prices, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders based on inventory levels and customer demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding product specifications, quantity, quality, pricing, and delivery requirements.
• Ensure seafood products received are properly checked for quantity, quality, freshness, packaging, temperature, and product specifications.
• Monitor cold-chain requirements from receiving through storage and delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for fresh and frozen seafood products.
• Monitor stock levels, movement, aging, and potential spoilage or wastage.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Delivery teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Prepare delivery schedules and coordinate with drivers/riders and logistics providers.
• Monitor deliveries and immediately address delays, shortages, damages, rejected products, or customer complaints.
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and critical seafood items.
• Help establish appropriate reorder points and purchasing quantities based on demand and inventory movement.
• Maintain supplier records and monitor supplier performance.
• Assist in evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, lead time, and service.
• Ensure proper documentation of purchases, receiving reports, delivery receipts, invoices, and other supply-chain documents.
• Coordinate with Accounting regarding purchase documentation and supplier billing concerns.
• Prepare regular reports on purchases, inventory, deliveries, shortages, wastage, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and proper handling procedures for seafood products.
• Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing, storage, transportation, and spoilage costs.
• Perform other supply-chain and operational duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain is preferred.
• Experience in food, seafood, cold storage, or wholesale distribution is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing processes.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and basic reporting.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Pay: Php15,421.07 - Php18,000.00 per month
