Procurement Staff

Specific Duties:

• Research: Conduct market research to get the best deals for the company and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Vendor relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Order tracking: Placing orders for products based on current inventory needs and tracking shipments from manufacturing locations to retail stores or company warehouses.
• Administrative tasks: Handle administrative responsibilities related to purchases, purchase agreements, and product records
• Inventory management: Place orders based on current inventory needs
• Delivery monitoring: Monitor deliveries and ensure timely delivery of products
• Knowledge on vehicle registration and insurances: familiar with process and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any business or related course
• At least two (2) years of related work experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory and supply management systems
• Exposure in truck and heavy equipment industry is a plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
