Procurement Staff

The PROCUREMENT STAFF oversees the entire strategic sourcing process, from start to finish, including purchasing, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement. Their role involves acquiring supplies and services of high quality and cost-effectiveness for the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration is preferred, but graduates of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any relevant field are welcome to apply.
• With at least 6 months to 1 year of working experience in Purchasing/ Procurement is required for this position, coming from Manufacturing industry is a plus
• Experience in importing/sourcing from international suppliers is a plus
• Good oral and written communication and persuasive skills, with a good sense for appropriate communication across all levels of an organization
• Ability to think and operate strategically and manage multiple projects and contracts simultaneously
• Ability to prepare reports and cost analysis

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor stock levels regularly and proactively identify purchasing needs.
• Research potential suppliers and conduct market analyses to track pricing trends.
• Manage the end-to-end purchase cycle, evaluate vendor offers, and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Track orders, follow up with suppliers on changes or updates, and ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with warehouse personnel to verify that all delivered goods arrive in excellent condition.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses and maintain updated records of purchase orders (POs), invoices, and vendor contracts.
