Procurement Strategy Consultant

The Procurement Strategy Consultant partners with organizations to strengthen how they source, manage suppliers, and run purchasing across the supply chain. They help shape the transformation agenda and lead it through to measurable outcomes, cost reduction, resilience, and stronger supplier performance, with platforms like SAP Ariba, Coupa, IVALUA, Zycus, or Jaggaer supporting the strategy rather than defining it.

Your Day to Day

• Advise clients on sourcing and procurement transformation strategy, drawing on platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, IVALUA, Zycus, or Jaggaer where relevant
• Assess current sourcing and procurement maturity and shape the opportunity, business case, and roadmap for change
• Guide programs through design, business case development, and into execution, including data readiness and stabilization
• Bring a structured, repeatable methodology to each engagement
• Coach and lead teams through delivery while staying close to the client's broader agenda
• Connect the work to the wider supply chain, from sourcing through planning, inventory, manufacturing, and logistics

What You Bring

• Consulting or in-house background advising on or leading sourcing and procurement transformation
• Working knowledge of at least one leading source to pay platform: SAP Ariba, Coupa, IVALUA, Zycus, or Jaggaer
• Exposure to industries such as Consumer Goods, Pharma, Tech, E-Commerce, Automotive, or Oil & Gas
• A track record building the business case and roadmap behind large scale sourcing and procurement change
• Strong client-facing communication, with the ability to lead teams and work across geographies
