Procurement Strategy Supervisor (Temporary)

Main Objective

Savings generation and value added trough best practice sharing, apply Sigma´s know how across supply chain areas in all OU´s, stablishing a detailed and totally comparable performance model, look for opportunities inside each operative area/OU, help in the execution and monitor these improvements, develop a supply strategic knowledge framework based on deep understanding of the global commodities markets, anticipate tendencies and minimize risk in all the regions Sigma operates.

What You'll Do

Global Projects & Synergies

• Identify, develop and implement global sourcing projects that generates savings for the company through joint negotiations, global tenders and best practices sharing.
• Coordinate global sourcing strategy team seeking for global opportunities.

Business Intelligence (External, Internal)

• Generate and analyze information about the behavior and attitudes of the market, deliver high-quality, decision-relevant purchasing trends and support the international strategy deployment; capture cost opportunities and assure supply.
• Generate, consolidate and present internal sourcing information about the OU's to help the sourcing teams take on better inform decisions.
• Define and manage the master data catalog for global sourcing information

Generate competitive intelligence and actionable insights to the company.

• Raw materials markets monitoring to analyze trends (Prices, production, stocks, etc.) and opportunities to optimize raw materials transactions and minimize risks & operation impacts
• Analyse Macroeconomics (Fx, rates, etc.) and Commodities
• Evaluate marketplace trends and track the media in order to analyze Suppliers and Competitors Sourcing Strategies
• Competitors Sourcing Strategies, actions and performance

Facilitate GSO Group Strategy (Meat, Non-meat, Dairy, Capex)

• Responsible of coordination Sigma Organizational Units' procurement areas, leveraging their combined scale and capabilities, with the purpose of seizing opportunities based on Strategic negotiations with suppliers such as global tenders, volume leverage, commercial terms homologation, best practices, etc.
• Support to OU's and central management.
• Support local sourcing teams and central management in their needs of raw material global and local projects

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced English Proficiency
• Project Management
• Strong Social, Communication, and Negotiation Skills
• Procurement Knowledge is a Plus
