Procurement Supervisor

About Us: PT Leon Boga Sentosa is a growing company in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and highly skilled Procurement Supervisor to lead our purchasing team. If you have a strong background in sourcing raw materials, managing international supply chains, and handling general office procurement, we want you on board!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end procurement process for both direct materials (raw materials, ingredients, packaging) and indirect materials.
• Actively source, evaluate, and build a strong network of local vendors for raw materials to ensure supply chain stability, agility, and cost efficiency.
• Manage and execute import purchasing operations, including coordinating with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and relevant agencies.
• Handle all purchasing activities for general office requirements, including office supplies, electronic equipment/IT assets, and sourcing reliable vendors for building renovations and facility maintenance.
• Monitor global and local market trends, as well as price fluctuations of food-grade raw materials, to develop cost-effective purchasing strategies.
• Handle all administrative and operational aspects of import shipments, ensuring full compliance with customs clearance procedures, import duties, and international trade laws.
• Lead negotiations for commercial terms, pricing, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with both direct (materials) and indirect (services/renovations) vendors to achieve targeted cost savings.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the procurement staff to ensure daily operations run smoothly and align with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate closely with PPIC, Production, R&D, and Quality Control to ensure all purchased raw materials meet exact technical specifications and food safety standards (BPOM, Halal, GMP).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in Procurement/Purchasing, with at least 1-2 years in a Supervisory or Team Lead role (Experience in the FMCG / Food & Beverage industry is highly preferred).
• Deep understanding of food-grade raw materials, including ingredients, additives, and packaging specifications.
• Extensive experience in handling import procurement, with a strong command of Incoterms, customs clearance processes, import taxes, and overseas shipping logistics.
• Proven ability to source and manage a wide range of suppliers, from local raw material producers to contractors/renovation vendors and electronic suppliers.
• Exceptional negotiation, persuasive communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo) and Microsoft Excel.
• High integrity, strong attention to detail, and solid leadership capabilities.
