Job Overview
The incumbent is responsible for the operation of the Procurement subsection in the General Services Office. The incumbent directly supervises four LES employees. The incumbent maintains a Contracting Officer warrant valid for purchases up to S25,000,00. This Subsection serves ICASS signatory agencies of the Mission, plus three constituent posts: Halifax, Quebec City and Winnipeg. The incumbent reports to the Supervisory General Service Officer or Assistant General Service Officer.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and supply chain needs
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable conditions.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.

Skills

• Proven vendor management skills with the ability to build strategic supplier relationships.
• Expertise in pricing negotiations and contract management.
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Experience in a supervisory role is required

Pay: $92,000.00-$139,000.00 per year
