Procurement Trainee

Role & responsibilities

• Research and identify vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Compare quotations based on cost, quality, delivery timelines, and service standards.
• Support vendor negotiations for competitive pricing and commercial terms.
• Raise purchase orders and coordinate timely delivery of goods/services.
• Track orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Maintain procurement records, invoices, vendor details, and payment status.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and vendor performance summaries.
• Monitor inventory levels and support procurement planning and forecasting.
• Coordinate with internal teams including warehouse, logistics, finance, IT, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical sourcing practices.
• Support procurement activities related to warehousing, IT services, AMC, maintenance, and infrastructure/facility management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• Basic understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.
• Knowledge of vendor management and market research techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
