Procurement Transactional Buyer

Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to join a dynamic international environment? For our client, we are currently seeking a Transactional Buyer to support end-to-end purchasing operations and drive operational excellence across procurement processes.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in line with procurement policies and procedures.
• Review and validate purchasing requests, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and manage vendor master data, including supplier onboarding and updates.
• Monitor order fulfillment, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
• Resolve purchasing, invoice, and supplier-related discrepancies in cooperation with stakeholders.
• Support sourcing activities, including supplier quotations, comparisons, and spot buys.
• Provide procurement guidance and support to internal customers.
• Analyze procurement data and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Participate in procurement transformation and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and procurement governance standards.

What we're looking for:

✅ 3-5 years of experience in transactional, operational, or indirect procurement

✅ Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes

✅ Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP

✅ Advanced Excel skills and procurement reporting experience

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

✅ Experience managing suppliers and stakeholders across different organizational levels

✅ Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

✅ English proficiency at minimum B2/C1 level

Nice to have:

⭐ Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) or Business Services environment

⭐ Knowledge of GEP or other procurement platforms

⭐ Experience with process improvement or transformation projects

⭐ Understanding of procurement compliance and internal controls

⭐ German (B1/B2)
