Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics Manager

Job Summary:

The Procurement, Warehousing & Logistics Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain function, including strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution of EV charging equipment and materials. The role also oversees and develops supply chain teams, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, timely project delivery, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for EV chargers, electrical equipment, cables, transformers, civil materials, and spare parts.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance reviews.
• Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Monitor market trends, supply risks, and alternative sourcing opportunities.

Warehousing & Inventory Management

• Lead warehouse operations, inventory planning, and stock control.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and regular audits.
• Optimize storage capacity, material handling processes, and warehouse productivity.
• Implement inventory management systems and best practices.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to support installation, maintenance, and expansion projects.

Logistics & Distribution

• Oversee transportation and distribution of materials to project sites nationwide.
• Ensure timely delivery of equipment to support project implementation schedules.
• Manage logistics providers, freight forwarders, and transportation contracts.
• Improve logistics efficiency while controlling operational costs.
• Resolve delivery issues and mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Supply Chain Planning

• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Project Management teams to forecast material requirements.
• Develop demand planning and replenishment strategies.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create contingency plans to address material shortages and supply disruptions.

People Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Set team objectives, KPIs, and performance standards aligned with business goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and succession planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Manage workforce planning, recruitment, training, and employee development.
• Drive employee engagement and retention within the supply chain function.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and health and safety standards.

Compliance, Quality & Governance

• Ensure procurement and logistics activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain supplier quality standards and compliance documentation.
• Support ESG and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
• Manage risk assessments related to procurement, warehousing, and logistics operations.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in procurement, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.
• At least 7 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience in EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy, power systems, construction, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in supplier negotiations, inventory management, logistics operations, and team leadership.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
