Prodcution Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Follow site EHS norms / standard and demonstrate continual improvement initiatives at his work area.
• Maintain his area clean as per Lean 5S standard and sets example for others in keeping their area clean.
• Take initiative, self-directed and exhibit high motivational levels. To meet manufacturing metrics; assist as required on strategic projects / initiatives and drive kaizen implementation / process quality improvement at work area. Take interest in solving problems.
• Willing to help others beyond his work area.
• Grasp fast and go into details of work initiated / assigned. Seek answers for unknown from colleagues.
• Discipline in behavior & responsibility to follow standard at work area assumes responsibility for own mistake and make corrections.
• See change as a tool for improvement. Demonstrate flexibility and self-motivation to meet functional requirements.
• Filling logbooks and respective area documentation with detailed down time, corrective action, COT time, lot data sheet with accountability & effective communication to next shifts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in plastics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 1 to 8 years of experience or relevant industry experience

• Computer literacy

• Good knowledge of Mfg. Process & equipment

• Knowledge Plastics compounding Manufacturing related Process & Procedure

• Skills Safety orientation and appreciation of safety systems. Plan & implement activities relating to his area.

• Abilities Understand, follow & implement SOPs and EHS norms. Take initiatives & sustain improvements
