Produce Procurement

We are looking for a Produce Replenishment Officer to join our manufacturing site in O'Connor, WA.

About the role

Produce Replenishment is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of produce for production requirements. The role involves working closely with production planners to keep the production team supplied with all necessary produce, ordering in accordance with company policies, and maintaining strong relationships across the supplier base.

Key Performance Objectives

• Work closely with the production planners to achieve the goal of keeping the production team in good supply of all necessary produce.
• Order produce in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships across supplier base.

Key Performance Indicators

• On time and in full deliveries.
• Produce received within specification measured against supply agreements and demand.
• Maintain stock holding to targeted levels as agreed by Head of Operations/Site Manager.
• Achieve financial targets across PPV, MPV & MUV

Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate produce supply to meet production demand in accordance with the National Supply Program.
• Manage produce inventory through daily review of item usage, sales, inventory adjustments and creation of orders (PO's) to replenish inventory.
• Provide growers timely and accurate forecasts.
• Develop and maintain good positive working relationships with growers and suppliers.
• Complete weekly MUV/Stocktakes and provide analysis on results.
• Assist with NCR in-bound produce process; feeding back to growers on out of specification deliveries and any rejections, claims or credits required.
• Manage weekly forecast requirements and daily adjustments to maintain stocks with correct pricing in line with National Supply Agreements.
• Prepare reports as requested by collecting, analysing, and summarising appropriate data and related information.
• Identify product improvements or new process improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors.
• Practice Company Values and Culture.
• Draft seasonal supply agreements under the direction of National Produce Procurement.
