Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics enviroment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.

The usual schedule is Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - Finish (7-9 Hour Shift).

The work environment includes all parts of the warehouse, with the most time spent on our receiving dock (dry non-air conditioned & refrigerated 40F).

Quality Control:

Position attributes would be describe as follows:

• Good written communication skills
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office
• Detail Oriented
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in food manufacturing/ warehouse is a plus

Duties:

General

• Monitors Food Safety/Quality Systems

Inbound Receiving

• Enforces our inbound receiving guidelines
• Inspects inbound shipments- product condition and trailer condition
• Investigates & documents out of temperature product/trailers
• Documents and Photographs inbound shipment issues- (food safety/ food quality/ damage)
• Conducts random time and temp inspections and logs results
• Inspects and documents HACCP CCP compliance

Returns

• Inspects returned products with quality related concerns (Return QC Task)

Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.
