Product Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted product advisor for Google Workspace solutions within the Higher Education sector.
• Understand the needs and challenges of universities, colleges, faculty, administrators, students, and IT teams.
• Provide guidance on Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Calendar, Classroom, and other relevant tools.
• Recommend appropriate Google Workspace solutions based on customer requirements and institutional goals.
• Conduct product demonstrations, consultations, workshops, and presentations for education stakeholders.
• Explain product features, benefits, and use cases in a clear and engaging manner.
• Support institutions in improving collaboration, productivity, communication, and digital learning through Google Workspace.
• Identify opportunities to increase product adoption, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within Higher Education institutions.
• Address product-related questions and concerns and coordinate with technical or support teams when escalation is required.
• Gather customer feedback and insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and enhanced customer experience.
• Stay updated on Google Workspace features, developments, best practices, and trends in education technology.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, implementation, and customer success teams to support successful customer outcomes.
• Meet established performance, customer satisfaction, adoption, and business targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in product advisory, customer success, sales, technical support, account management, EdTech, or a related role.
• Experience working with Higher Education institutions is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and cloud-based productivity and collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, practical, and customer-friendly manner.
• Strong consultative selling and customer relationship management skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to continuously learn new technologies, products, and industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google Workspace for Education.
• Experience supporting universities, colleges, faculty, students, or academic administrators.
• Knowledge of Google Classroom and other digital learning platforms.
• Experience conducting technology demonstrations, training sessions, or workshops.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the education sector.
• Google Workspace certification or related technical certification is an advantage.
