Role: Product Analyst

Summary:

We are looking for a Product Analyst to work with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of ERP and internal product tools. The role involves data analysis, requirement gathering, and translating business needs into effective product solutions.

Roles& Responsibilities:

• Understand business processes and identify opportunities to improve existing ERP and internal product workflows.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other business teams to gather and understand requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze data from ERP and internal systems to identify trends, gaps, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
• Use SQL and Excel to extract, analyze, validate, and interpret business data.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Define and track relevant product and business KPIs to measure product performance and process efficiency.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in feature discussions, requirement analysis, process mapping, testing, and product releases.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that developed features meet business requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and document productor process issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation of requirements, workflows, processes, and product changes.
• Monitor the impact of new features and process improvements and identify further opportunities for optimization.

Requirements

• MBA / PGDM in Business Analytics, Operations, Finance, IT/Systems, Product Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding business processes, workflows, and data analysis.
• Good understanding of basic statistics and analytical concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to convert business problems into clear and structured requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned problems.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Good to Have

• Experience or academic exposure to ERP / accounting systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Understanding of Product Management or Business Analysis.
• Familiarity with UAT, user stories, process mapping, and requirement gathering.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Python is an advantage.
