Product Analyst (x2) - Web Portal Migration

Job#: 3055918 Job Description: Apex Systems is seeking Product Analysts to support large-scale web platform modernization initiatives. These roles will focus on analyzing existing web applications, identifying gaps against target-state solutions, gathering and documenting business requirements, and partnering with stakeholders to drive successful platform migrations. The ideal candidates will possess strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills and be comfortable working across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis by comparing existing web applications and portals against target-state platform standards.
• Identify, document, and communicate functional and process gaps.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and related project documentation.
• Translate requirements into user stories and manage requirements within Jira.
• Build, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs for development teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, answer questions, and facilitate discussions.
• Participate in product demonstrations, requirement reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support the development and adoption of standardized product and platform capabilities.
• Perform data analysis and leverage available data sources to support business decisions and requirement validation.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Product Analysis, Business Analysis, or Product Management support roles.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Proven ability to perform product or process gap analysis.
• Experience creating and maintaining BRDs, user stories, and other project documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and backlog management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience participating in product demonstrations, workshops, and requirement sessions.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate business processes and system functionality.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
