Product & Pricing Analyst

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Product & Pricing Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation, supporting key product and customer initiatives across a large consumer portfolio.

This role sits within a high-performing Product & Pricing team and offers the opportunity to work across product delivery, customer segmentation, pricing initiatives, stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision making.

We're looking for someone who enjoys combining strong analytical capability with commercial thinking and stakeholder management to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

The Opportunity

As a Product & Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting product initiatives from concept through to implementation. Working closely with Product Managers, Acquisition teams and broader business stakeholders, you will provide analytical support, product expertise and customer insights that help shape strategic decisions.

A significant focus of the role will involve analysing customer and product data, validating business rules, supporting customer segmentation activities and ensuring benefits and initiatives are delivered accurately and efficiently.

You'll also contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess and support new product initiatives.
• Provide product information and subject matter expertise to business stakeholders.
• Analyse customer, product and transaction data to support strategic decision-making.
• Validate, reconcile and review data to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
• Support customer segmentation and targeted product initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to drive successful implementation and delivery outcomes.
• Assist with requirements gathering, solution reviews and testing activities.
• Review test scenarios and support quality assurance processes.
• Resolve issues and provide recommendations throughout initiative delivery.
• Contribute to process improvements and future automation opportunities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and the ability to engage effectively with a broad stakeholder group.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, reconciliations and customer data analysis.
• Experience working with large enterprise datasets and data warehouse environments (Teradata experience highly regarded).
• Experience analysing customer, account, product or transaction data.
• Strong problem-solving capability and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience within banking, financial services, product analytics, pricing analytics or customer analytics environments.
• Exposure to SAS, Python, Tableau or Power BI would be advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around QA, reconciliations and documentation.
• The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and outcome-focused approach to work.
