Job Description -ORBIT 2.0 Product & Systems Lead:

About SKIPPI & ORBIT

SKIPPI is a Hyderabad-based FMCG brand operating across quick commerce, modern trade, general trade, exports, and Direct Partner distribution.

ORBIT is our in-house ERP managing orders, inventory, finance, logistics, CRM, and other business operations. We are building ORBIT 2.0 to improve existing modules and develop new systems using AI-powered development tools.

Role Overview

We are looking for a logical, detail-oriented Product & Systems Lead who can understand business requirements, translate them into software solutions using AI tools like Claude and Emergent, and ensure the system works accurately in live production.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business processes across Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, Operations, and Marketing.
• Gather requirements and convert them into clear business rules, workflows, and system specifications.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Emergent to design, build, and improve ERP modules.
• Test features, user permissions, approvals, calculations, reports, inventory, GST, discounts, and returns.
• Validate live data against actual business transactions and identify errors before release.
• Manage deployments, troubleshoot issues, train users, and maintain system documentation.
• Own ORBIT improvements from requirement gathering to implementation and production verification.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Fresher to 4 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, ERP Consulting, or Business Systems.
• Hands-on experience configuring, testing, or implementing an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho, ERPNext, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Understanding of business workflows across sales, finance, inventory, and logistics.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of GST, discounts, credit notes, stock movements, and business reports.
• Ability to prepare test cases, identify edge cases, and verify data using Excel or SQL.
• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in building software using AI.
• Good communication skills and an ownership-driven approach.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, APIs, SQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, manufacturing, DMS, or quick commerce.
• Familiarity with Tally, e-invoicing, and e-way bills.
• Knowledge of Telugu or Hindi.

Key Success Expectations

• First 30 days: Understand ORBIT modules, business processes, and existing issues.
• First 90 days: Own at least one module from requirements to successful deployment.
• First 180 days: Independently manage releases, testing, live-data validation, and user training.
