Product Application Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Application Engineer to join our team at our Jasaan facility in Misamis Oriental. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in bridging the gap between our product development and customer requirements. As a Product Application Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimising chemical product applications to meet diverse customer needs. This position is essential to ensuring our products perform effectively in real-world conditions and that customers receive expert technical support throughout their product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test new product applications, formulations, and processes to meet customer specifications and industry standards
• Conduct laboratory experiments and trials to optimise chemical product performance and identify potential improvements
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on proper product usage, handling, and safety protocols
• Troubleshoot application issues and develop solutions to resolve customer challenges and concerns
• Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product launches and customer satisfaction
• Document technical data, test results, and application procedures in comprehensive reports and technical documentation
• Analyse product performance data and market feedback to recommend enhancements and new application opportunities
• Conduct on-site customer visits to assess application requirements, provide training, and ensure optimal product performance
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all application testing and customer support activities

What we're looking for

• Graduate of BS Chemical Engineering or Chemistry (Licensed Chemist or Engineer preferred).
• With experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment is an advantage (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical tasks.
• Willing to travel or conduct on-site product application support when required.
