Responsibilities / Tasks of Product Architecture : Defining Product Structure : - Design the overall architecture of the product (e.g., modules, components, systems)

• Ensure the product structure supports performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
• Balance functionality, technology choices, and business requirements
• Technical Strategy Planning
• Set long-term technical direction for the product
• Choose appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms
• Align product architecture with business goals and roadmap
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution
• Provide architectural guidance to development teams System Integration :- Plan how different systems, services, or third-party tools will integrate with the product
• Ensure compatibility and smooth data flow between components Documentation :- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and interface specs
• Document decisions, standards, and practices for development teams
• Governance Standards
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles
• Review code and design decisions to ensure architectural alignment
• Risk Management
• Identify architectural risks or bottlenecks early in the development cycle
• Recommend solutions for technical debt and future-proofing the product
• Performance Optimization
• Guide performance tuning, load balancing, and system monitoring strategies
• Optimize architecture for user experience, system speed, and resource usage Optional / Industry-Specific Tasks:- Software: Microservices, API design, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), DevOps integration
• Hardware/IoT: Component selection, firmware integration, system interoperability
• Enterprise Systems: Data modeling, ERP/CRM integrations, multi-system architecture
