Product Assembler

About the Opportunity

Ya Batho (Pty) Ltd is looking for a reliable, skilled and quality-focused Production Assembler to join our Operations team on a temporary/part-time basis

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling various products and systems in a production environment, ensuring that all work is completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with approved product drawings, job cards, pick lists, work instructions and quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is comfortable working in a structured production environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric. (Mathematics and Science would be advantageous.)
• 2-5 years' relevant trade/technical experience.
• A qualification in Electronics (N3) or a related trade will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Previous experience in a production, assembly, electronics or technical manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and written work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products, units and systems according to approved product drawings and work instructions.
• Follow job cards, pick lists and production instructions accurately.
• Conduct visual inspections of completed work to ensure that products meet required quality standards.
• Identify and report non-conforming or defective products to the relevant Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping on job cards in relation to work completed.
• Ensure required production targets are achieved within the approved schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe production area.
• Complete housekeeping activities in accordance with the production schedule.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and quality management requirements.
• Follow occupational health and safety requirements at all times.
• Participate in company induction, soldering training and product-specific training.
• Assist with additional production-related tasks as required.
• Support increased production requirements when work volumes increase.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
