Product Controller

We're looking for a CA/CPA qualified accountant to join a Product Control team providing independent oversight and financial control for a business sitting within the Global Markets division of Institutional Banking & Markets.

You'll own end-to-end financial control for the desk - daily P&L, month-end accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations - working alongside a team of qualified accountants with Markets experience across leading global institutions.

What you'll do:

• Own daily P&L and attribution, with clear daily, weekly and monthly commentary
• Run month-end reporting: balance sheet attestation and analysis, and General Ledger-to-source-system reconciliation
• Deliver high quality, business-focused management reporting, forecasting and insight
• Support the business with financial analysis
• Spot and drive opportunities to reduce manual effort across reporting processes

What you'll bring:

• CA/CPA qualification with strong accounting skills
• Strong numeracy and a solid understanding of financial products
• Working knowledge of accounting standards, applied in practice
• Advanced analytical and data skills, including SQL or similar tools
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication, with genuine openness, honesty and transparency
