Product Data Specialist, Launch

About the role

This role owns product data setup for CSL and Sonneman and supports the Product Data Manager, Launch across the rest of the HVLG brands. It is the second qualified owner of launch data and provides real depth behind the Launch function during peak periods and absence. This is an ownership role rather than a support role. The role learns the full launch process and follows it through for the commercial brands, and coverage of the wider portfolio follows from doing launch work every week, not from standing by.

Key responsibilities

• Own item setup for CSL and Sonneman end to end: specifications, dimensions, pricing, item numbers and family names in SAP and PIM
• Own launch readiness for those brands, including parts offering, and coordinate assembly instructions with the Item Master Supervisor
• Own carton dimension collection and submission for new product
• Work with the Product Data Manager, Launch to standardize all item setups across the commercial and decorative brands, so the same item type is built the same way on either side
• Document the standard setup process and flag where commercial and decorative practice still differ
• Support the Product Data Manager, Launch on all launch processes across the remaining brands
• Learn the full launch process end to end and provide qualified coverage during peak periods and planned absence
• Build and maintain PIM skeletons for new items across all brands
• Execute full PIM imports; maintain templates and validate files before load
• Standardize Jira across the HVLG Group so every brand works from the same setup

About you

• Three or more years in product data, document control, product development support or a comparable function
• Demonstrated ownership of item setup for a brand or product line
• Practical PIM experience, including bulk upload preparation and validation
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Advanced Excel
• Ability to read technical drawings and specification documents
• Willing to work on a permanent graveyard shift schedule
