Product Design Engineer-Creo

Designation: Product Engineer/Sr. Product Engineer
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop geartrain components and assemblies using Creo, ensuring compliance with product requirements and Engineering standards.
• Create and maintain 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design, manufacturing, assembly, and validation activities.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to achieve robust and cost-effective designs.
• Participate in design reviews, tolerance analysis, and engineering change management processes.
• Support product development activities from concept through production release.
• Work closely with manufacturing and validation teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• M.Tech or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 4 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience in powertrain, transmission, related product design.
• Expert-level proficiency in Creo CAD software.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and engineering change processes.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Strong engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of MCM processes and methodologies.
• Good understanding of engine systems and engine component functions.
• Expert-level proficiency to GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and engineering release processes.
• Experience working in a global engineering environment.
