Product Design Engineer ( Valve Design )

Extensive experience in supporting R&D activities related to industrial valve design and product development.

• Responsible for creation of Material Masters and BOM's in SAP systems for special requirements.
• Releasing New Material specification/Procedures of special requirements
• Checking and Releasing of Codes and Standards Design documents for inspecting authority approval
• Design of New drawings and required approval for further use
• Checking and Releasing of Lot cards for production with all related documents
• Technical Support on all special application engineering requirements
• Document management and control - Maintaining upto date controlled documents for other department use
• Technical support for Root cause analysis and elimination of customer complaints
• Reviewing and ensuring the results of Engineering activities(BOM release, GAD submission, Lot cards release & Updation of engineering documents) to meet the business requirements on time.
• Co-ordination/Communication with team on technical support for the existing/new products
• Extend technical support to the Marketing, Manufacturing, Branches & Customers
• Reduction of engineering error
• Product training to internal/external customers at plant.
• Technical support to reduce the assembly and inhouse rejections
• Digitizing the various processes.
• Import substitution of identified products
