Product Design Engineering

About the role

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Design Engineer at PT SUCACO Tbk in Kalideres. The role involves responsibility for designing, developing, and optimizing physical and digital products from the initial concept stage through to readiness for mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize physical and digital products from concept through mass production readiness
• Clearly communicate the design process to all stakeholders and report on progress and testing results
• Use wireframing apps, 3D modeling software, and similar applications to produce prototypes
• Develop new tech solutions according to client requirements and industry standards to create functional, high-quality solutions
• Test products to ensure they meet performance and quality standards
• Improve and update existing product solutions as per the latest industry updates
• Work closely with other teams to ensure that product design is efficient and smooth
• Conduct market research to inform product development decisions

About you

• D3/D4/S1 in Electro/Electronics/Industrial engineering or Associate degree in Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field
• Experience with design software and tools, such as CAD and simulation software
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
