Product Designer Accessories

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and experienced Product Designer to develop innovative fashion accessories, including gloves, belts, hats, scarves, and related products. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of fashion trends, materials, colors, and construction techniques, and can translate concepts into commercially viable products for global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop seasonal collections of fashion accessories, including gloves, belts, hats, scarves, wallets, slippers and other soft accessories.
• Conduct trend research on colors, materials, silhouettes, and market preferences.
• Create concept boards, sketches, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Develop artwork and presentations using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
• Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and overseas manufacturing teams.
• Source and select materials, trims, embellishments, and packaging components.
• Review samples and provide detailed comments and revisions to suppliers.
• Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and target market requirements.
• Maintain product documentation, specifications, and development timelines.
• Stay current with industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in fashion accessories, apparel, or consumer product design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical design capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes for fashion accessories.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with overseas suppliers and manufacturing partners is an advantage.
