Product Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design new watch collections, including dial, case, bezel, hands, crown, straps, buckles, and packaging designs.
• Research India & global watch, fashion, and lifestyle trends to identify new product opportunities.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to develop commercially successful products.
• Analyse sales data, customer feedback, market trends, and product performance to identify opportunities for new product development, product improvements, and portfolio optimization.
• Leverage data-driven insights from e-commerce platforms, retail performance, and consumer behaviour to support product design decisions and forecasting.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, sketches, and technical specifications for new products.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, textures, and components based on design and cost objectives.
• Maintain design documentation, product specifications.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure product designs align with customer needs and brand strategy.

Requirements

• Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Accessories Design, Jewellery Design, market analysis or a related discipline.
• 6-8 years of experience in product design, with preference given to candidates from the watch industry.
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, color palettes, materials, finishes, and design aesthetics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities.
• Proficiency in designing softwares.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong visualization skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple product development projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Preference to Good understanding of the watch market, consumer buying behavior, and premium product positioning.
• Passion for watches, fashion, and emerging design trends.
