Product Designer / UX Specialist (Mobile & Web)

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough UX/UI audits across Web, iOS, Android, and OTT platforms to identify usability issues, consistency gaps, and navigation bottlenecks
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research (usability testing, user interviews, A/B testing analysis, and survey design) to validate design decisions
• Re-architect content discovery flows, homepage hierarchies, and navigation structures to help users find live/VOD content faster
• Review and redesign subscription funnels, ad-supported user flows, and micro-payment checkout experiences to lower bounce rates and boost conversion
• Collaborate with analytics/product teams (using tools like GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Hotjar/Clarity) to analyze user interaction behavior and drop-offs to drive design iterations
• Create high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows in Figma. Help establish and maintain a scalable cross-platform Design System
• Partner with Product Managers, Front-end Developers, and Marketing to ensure UI/UX enhancements align with technical feasibility and business goals

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience as a UX Specialist, Product Designer, or Interaction Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX research and interface design for complex Mobile & Web products
• Experience in video streaming platforms, media, entertainment, or high-traffic e-commerce apps is strongly preferred
• Mastery of Figma, FigJam, and interactive prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Framer). Experience with UX research and heatmapping tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Maze)
• Comfort working with product data to identify UX issues. Familiarity with behavioral tracking platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA4) is a major plus
• Deep understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Google Material Design, and Web responsive design standards
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to explain "why" behind design decisions to stakeholders and engineering teams
• Fluent in Cantonese and English
