Working closely with our Design team, you’ll manage the development of styles from concept through to bulk production, ensuring every garment meets our high standards for fit, quality, construction and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Technical Packs, specifications and technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Assess garment construction, fabric and trim viability to ensure products meet Outcast’s quality and production standards.
  • Prepare for and participate in fit sessions, providing technical recommendations and documenting accurate fit comments.
  • Measure development samples, update specifications and ensure grading and tolerances are accurate before bulk approval.
  • Partner closely with the Design team to achieve the desired fit, functionality and design intent.
  • Liaise with offshore suppliers, managing technical queries and ensuring critical path deadlines are achieved.
  • Identify and resolve technical or production issues, providing practical solutions throughout the development process.
  • Maintain accurate product information, documentation and sample libraries across Style Arcade and internal systems.
  • Research new fabrics, trims and construction techniques while contributing to continuous product innovation and process improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Product Developer, Garment Technician or Technical Product Development role within womenswear fashion.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, pattern making and production processes.
  • Experience creating Technical Packs and technical specifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims and garment construction.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Style Arcade or a similar PLM system is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical path deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with offshore suppliers.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Passion for fashion, innovation and creating premium products.

Why Join Outcast? At Outcast, you’ll join a passionate, ambitious team that’s redefining global fashion. We move fast, back great ideas and empower our people to take ownership of their work. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside talented creatives, contribute to exciting product launches and play a key role in shaping collections worn by customers around the world.
