服装开发专员 Product Developer - Apparel

该职位来源于猎聘 SUMMARY Serves as the window between US Development team and Apparel factories from hand off of designs to sample inspection/shipment and product cost. Liaised as well with material suppliers regarding quality and possible limitation of materials to specific application. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 60% Development: Timely hand-over of projects to factories, discussing details and potential problems, if any, ensure to communicate to US counter-part the resolution. Development follow-ups, communication, technical assistance to both factory and US developer/PLM. Follow up and tracks sample deliveries of every development cycle.

Follow up and tracks for T1 sourced materials.

Ensure that all materials used in development are tested and can meet Deckers requirements. Responsible for checking the Sample Room capacity of factory to ensure that there is capacity allocation for when the sample order is placed.

Follow up from lab dip approval to confirm swatches approval. Participate in the Risk Assessment Meeting to call out all potential risk. Check sample quality and fill in comments in PLM. 10% Production: Hand off complete files and confirmation sample/swatches to production team Follow up and review the MOQ and lead time with suppliers. Prepare Lifestyle factories Vendor Scorecard per season. Prepare Product Security Audit quarterly – R&D part. 10% Costing:

Support costing team to optimize the margin by improving construction and material.

10% Material test and RS compliance: Ensure that material physical properties are tested during development stage so any potential issues can be resolved before going into production. RS compliance of materials to be used in production is a must.

10% Others: Responsible for maintaining good filing of material swatches, development designs and product specs. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Any Certifications Required： College Graduate or any equivalent Technical course. Year(s) of Experience & Background Required： At least 5 years in Apparel development and production. Experience working with a brand is plus factor. Functional & Technical Competencies： Basic knowledge in pattern.

Knowledge in materials and trim’s/component.

Basic knowledge in product costing.

Must be computer literate.
