PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CHEMIST

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Development Chemist to support product development activities, including formulation, testing, and process improvement. The role is responsible for conducting trials, evaluating product performance, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of new product formulations.
• Conduct and supervise laboratory-scale batches, stability testing, compatibility testing, and sensory evaluations.
• Optimize formulations to meet quality, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate ingredients, analyze results, and prepare technical documentation.
• Support product scale-up, validation, and production transfer.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, and Regulatory teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in product development, R&D, or formulation within the food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge in food formulation, laboratory testing, and product evaluation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards is an advantage.
