About the role

We are seeking a talented Product Development professional to join our team at PT Kramat Motor, Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is based in Jakarta and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our product portfolio. As a Product Development specialist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between market demands and our product offerings, ensuring that our solutions remain competitive and aligned with customer expectations. This position is integral to our marketing and product strategy, directly supporting the organization's growth objectives and market positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and gaps in the automotive sector
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and engineering to develop new product concepts and enhancements
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align with business objectives and market trends
• Monitor and follow up product development projects from discussion through implementation.
• Prepare detailed product specifications and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor product performance metrics and provide regular reports on product development progress
• Support the launch of new products, including go-to-market strategy and promotional activities
• Identify and evaluate potential partnerships or acquisitions that could enhance our product offerings
• Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements relevant to the automotive sector

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline

• Min. 3 years of experience in product development, product management, or marketing within the automotive or similar manufacturing industry

• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies

• Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis effectively

• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with capability to engage diverse stakeholder groups

• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with product management tools and software

• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach to product development

• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and verbal, is a must.

• Preferred experience in the automotive sector or with similar technical product lines
