Product Development Engineer

Qualifications: 1.5-10 years of design experience in a component or product development environment preferred.

• Experience designing consumer products preferred.
• Experience applying technologies to create products or subsystems as part of larger product design.
• Experience with CAD tools; 3D modeling and FEA experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Execute product design steps following core engineering practices and discipline.
• Use project plan definitions to deliver solutions for critical success factors in a cross functional project management environment.
• Release design documentation via engineering data management tools; communicate product and component design requirements.
• Support product prototyping processes.
• Support product validation processes.
• Research, investigate, and drive cutting edge thinking to pursue industry innovative products, processes, and technology.
• Support and interact with customers in a field support capacity.
