Product Development Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Product Development Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor and optical device technologies, collaborating across functions to drive product innovation and quality improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product development activities, ensuring smooth integration of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Conduct yield and failure analysis to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Optimize test parameters and specifications to enhance device performance and reliability.
• Perform data-driven analysis using Excel, Python, and other tools to monitor trends and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, design, and test engineers to resolve technical challenges.
• Support customer requirements by addressing technical issues, driving quality improvements, and contributing to reliability validation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in yield management, test optimization, and product engineering.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Microelectronics, Semiconductor Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of guided-wave optical device working principles.
• Strong technical foundation in semiconductor processes, yield/failure analysis, and test optimization.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Python.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to customer support, quality improvement, or reliability validation as an advantage.
• Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
