Product Development Engineer

Development Engineer – Medical Equipment - Hampshire

We are looking for an innovative Development Engineer with excellent problem-solving skills to join the R&D team at a specialist healthcare company based in Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

• New product development (NPD) & Existing Product Development (EPD)
• Working on the product development Lifecyle
• Developing test methods and creating test plans
• Building test rigs
• Results analysis
• Continuous improvement
• Working closely with the wider R&D team, production and engineering departments
• Providing mechanical support to production
• Report writing
• Supporting the quality department in consumer issues investigation and support

Requirements:

• Practical hands-on mechanical engineer with an apprenticeship or similar level qualification
• Product development experience
• Experience developing test rigs
• Product testing experience and an understanding of testing equipment/instruments
• Data analysis experience
• Experience in experimental design
• Report writing experience
• Excellent communication skills
