Job Summary

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and improvement of new and existing products. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products from concept through production.
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product documentation.
• Develop prototypes and conduct product testing and validation.
• Analyse test results and recommend product improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches.
• Ensure products comply with applicable engineering and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues during product development and production.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain engineering documentation and change records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in product development or design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
