Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Partner with Design Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle, reviewing circuit and layout designs to ensure compliance with design standards, manufacturability requirements, and quality objectives while driving continuous design improvements
• Lead product and process characterization activities to validate performance against datasheet specifications, identify enhancement opportunities, and initiate re-characterization or process optimization efforts as required
• Support high-volume manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate production documentation, monitoring process performance and yield metrics, managing lot dispositions, and driving continuous cost and efficiency improvements
• Serve as the primary technical resource for product quality and reliability, conducting root cause analysis on customer returns, resolving process-related issues, investigating yield excursions, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Oversee product development, test, and packaging initiatives , including new package introductions, test program maintenance, flow optimization, test-time reduction, and performance enhancement activities
• Provide technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration by mentoring junior engineers, guiding process and quality improvement programs, and contributing to strategic engineering projects and business objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

• A technology related bachelor's degree in EE or CE or equivalent combination of training and experience. Knowledge of product engineering, semiconductor manufacturing and failure analysis or related coursework is preferred.
• Ability to work well with other people.
• Good skills statistical data analysis, automation, and AI-based tools.

2. Builds a solid foundation of engineering skills in the practice of memory testing and failure analysis.
3. Logical analysis, organization and review of various manufacturing and electrical data sources to formulate systematic engineering solutions for product enhancements.

DECISION MAKING:

1. Makes "On-line", technical decisions on individual wafer/unit lots; whether to rework, send out or scrap, and solves problems with well-defined solutions.
2. Ability to formulate flexible, logical and systematic plans with the arrival of real time data.
3. Refers problems outside of scope or expertise.
