Product Development Engineer II

We have an opportunity for Product Development Engineer II to join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing aero propulsion systems. The role supports complex products from initial requirements through prototype, qualification and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of product development plans, schedules, milestones and technical deliverables
• Coordinate activities across systems, hardware, software, mechanical, manufacturing and test engineering teams
• Track technical progress, development actions, dependencies, risks and issues
• Coordinate design reviews, technical meetings and engineering follow-up activities
• Support prototype development, integration, testing, qualification and certification activities
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet technical and delivery requirements
• Maintain project documentation, action trackers and technical status records, and prepare progress reports for stakeholders
• Support product delivery and customer acceptance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or a related field
• Approximately 4–5 years of experience in product development, engineering project coordination, systems engineering or a related technical role
• Sound understanding of the product development lifecycle, from requirements through design, prototype, testing, qualification and production
• Experience in project planning, milestone tracking, and risk, issue and change management
• Strong technical communication, documentation and coordination skills
• Proficiency with engineering and project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, DOORS, JAMA or PLM

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace, defense, automotive, propulsion, electronics or other complex engineering products
• ECU, electrical, mechanical or embedded systems development
• Qualification and certification activities, configuration management and engineering change processes
• Prototype-to-production transition, manufacturing readiness, and supplier and procurement activities
