Product Development Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to design, develop, and validate mechanical products for HVAC applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical design experience, intermediate AutoCAD 2D skills, CAD modeling proficiency, and the ability to support product development from design through manufacturing launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate HVAC products based on customer requirements, engineering standards, and performance specifications.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, CAD models, bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and test reports.
• Participate in DFMEA, DVP&R, and formal design reviews.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, supply chain, and production teams.
• Support product redesign, continuous improvement, and value engineering/value analysis (VAVE) initiatives.
• Provide engineering support during pilot production, production startup, and post-release activities.
• Manage engineering changes, including ECOs and ECNs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Processes, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–6 years of mechanical design or product development experience.
• Intermediate AutoCAD 2D proficiency.
• Hands-on CAD modeling experience; Autodesk Inventor is preferred.
• Experience creating mechanical designs and engineering documentation.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher under the CEFR framework.
• Relevant manufacturing or engineering experience.
