Product Development Engineer -Connector

Overview Of The Position Managed the development of connector products, covering product structure, materials, cost, and function. Led projects from design and prototyping through validation, industrialization, product launch, and ongoing maintenance and improvement throughout the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for new product/sample development of the connector.
• Project management of new connector product development.
• Quotations, drawings, specifications, subpoenas (requisition lists), and sample tracking for new connector products/samples;
• SAP data maintenance for new connector products, production, and update of process documents.
• Analysis and rectification of unqualified items of new connector products/samples.
• Update and management of technical information/data during the development process.
• Process tracking of the first mass production of new connector products.
• Correct review of the technical data of other personnel.
• Provide technical support and replies to other departments.
• Product standardization and continuous improvement.
• Temporary projects and other tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

• Mechanical design or electronics-related major, bachelor's degree or above.
• More than 3 years of work experience in the design and development of connector products for forklifts, automobiles, medical, etc.
• Familiar with the production process and working principles of white home appliance wiring connector products.
• Proficient in knowledge of white goods wire harness products and production process technology applications.
• Trained in project management, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, DOE, and product knowledge.
• Good calculation, understanding, logical thinking, and expression skills;
• Work conscientiously and proactively, have a positive attitude, have a strong sense of responsibility, and be good at communication.
• Be able to endure hardships and stand hard work, be able to withstand greater work pressure, and have a good teamwork spirit and coordination skills.
