Responsibilities

• Assist in the new product development framework, including sourcing, prototype development, cost evaluation, and ingredient selection.

• Keep abreast of market information/products, conduct market research and analysis for nutraceutical profile like medical nutrition, health supplements, traditional medicine, and FDI products.

• Assist in identifying and resolving product quality and technical issues.

• Coordinate with the Supply Chain team and relevant PICs on first production planning, troubleshooting production-related technical issues, and managing raw material or packaging material replacement activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely execution of product development projects and successful product launches.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Science, Nutrition, Dietetics or a related field.

• Preferably 3 years of experience in product development, R&D, nutraceuticals, health supplements, pharmaceutical, or related industries.

• Good understanding of ingredients, product formulation, and market trends will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about developing new products.
